Fixing a leaky bathtub faucet - leaky faucet or any other for that matter - can be an expensive task - unless you can do it yourself!
In this article we want the most common reason for a leaky faucet eyes and show you how to solve the problem quickly and economically.
Preparation
It 'almost goes without saying that you should turn off the water first! Where can I work around the problem, which can not be found? Just look under the sink and see where the pipes run. Somewhere along their length that youor a handle or a wheel with which you can see the power off. In almost every case, you must rotate clockwise to close.

Locate the screw that holds the handle of the faucet is in place (which may be hidden behind a small plate or lid and the lid must be estimated away with a small screwdriver or similar). Then loosen the screw.
The next task is to get off the handles. Use a screwdriver to do this - you may need a little 'inputlittle power to appreciate, but it will come.
Now you see the old disk (do not worry, if not, put one in place anyway). Remove the old washer and replace with new. Note that the hole in the disk is only a suggestion should be higher than the central contribution that the handle turns.
